Description
Composition, baroque lute: Nao Sogabe
John Dowland, one of the most important composers and lutenists of the Elizabethan era, left behind numerous works of outstanding artistic quality. “Farewell” is one of his works in which he demonstrates his compositional skills with symbolic chromatic ascending motifs and suspended notes. This piece is an homage to this artist from 1600, who continues to inspire us to this day.
